In the historical center of Riga, at Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 61, a new rental building is being reborn.

From November of this year, SIA “Vestabalt” starts renting out apartments in the restored property on Krišjāņa Valdemāra street 61.

Krišjāņa Valdemāra street lease property was built in 1914 and the author of this beautiful stately Art Nouveau real estate is the architect Herberts Tīmanis, who was also the first owner of this building.

The building has a total of 68 apartments, as well as two commercial premises on the first floor of the building with a total leasable area of ​​2737.4 m².
Krišjāņa Valdemāra 61 rental house offers studio apartments with areas ranging from ​​17 to 45 m², as well as one-bedroom apartments with areas from ​​34 to 59 m².

High ceilings, checkered, authentic Art Nouveau style windows, bay windows give the apartments a sense of spaciousness and coziness, which are excellently complemented by the building’s many balconies.

During the restoration work, the building’s two stairwells were also restored, which are now complemented by two KONE high-speed elevators, access security systems and video surveillance, as well as several interior design elements additionally installed in the common areas and the courtyard.

For the convenience of the tenants, the apartments are fully furnished and ready for living within a few days after signing the rental agreement. Foreign customers are offered an additional service, which includes the rental of a fully equipped apartment, purchase, delivery and installation of additional machinery and equipment.

The building of Krišjāņa Valdemāra 61 is a cultural and historical monument of national importance (Monument No. 8068) and during the restoration, special attention was paid to the restoration of historical elements, such as: windows, original doors, ceiling decor, historical parquet and staircase railings. The historical elevator of the Krišjāna Valdemāra 61 building, which was impossible to restore, was restored with the utmost care and according to modern requirements and has now been moved to the Gallery “CENTRS”, where today it has been reborn as an interior element available for public viewing.

Krišjāņa Valdemāra 61 rental house is in an excellent location, as the historical center of Riga and Old Riga, shopping center “Galerija Rīga”, Dailes theater, Skonto Stadium, KIM Contemporary Art Center, as well as several restaurants (Portofino, Riviera, Yakuza, Zivju Lete, Chef’s Corner and Mulberry), supermarkets (Rimi, LIDL, Maxima) and public transport are within a few minutes’ walk. 

The owner and developer of Krišjāņa Valdemāra street 61 is the real estate investment fund Indexo Real Estate Fund, which is managed by SIA “Provendi Asset Management”, a company of the AIFP group.

The construction works were done by SIA “Angāze”, the improvement of apartments was carried out in cooperation with SIA “Vestabalt” and SIA “SV Mēbeles”, SIA “Frisbi Aizkari”.

SIA “VESTABALT” and SIA “Vestabalt JUMS” will provide full-service property management and rental of apartments of Krišjāņa Valdemāra 61.
